It's Alive! - Kirk Hammet's collection of classic horror movie posters. Well this certainly made my day. I just rewatched Creature From the Black Lagoon before I roadtripped up to Salem. I watched the sequel as well as a really adorable spin off animation I'll have to add into this post later. The exhibit at the Peabody Essex Museum was awesome. The aesthetic and illustration style of these classic horror movies has been a visual inspiration for me for a long time. I used to buy the monster kits instead of groceries at the cheap markets I'd do my shopping in in Baltimore. I had no idea how rare those kits would be later. I'll have to post the kits or at least, some of the art I created from the kits. Enjoy some of my photos from the show- including long exposure shots of movies!

Wrapped up a fun mural in the shore town of Keansburg, NJ. My mural is based on some recent paintings I submitted for a jury selection to turn into a diptych version mural. Brought the pup with me to work on it a few days, and enjoyed a dip in the beach after it wrapped. I also enjoyed getting to work next to my cousin, Mike, on one of the days!
